yssys--i like the unwrapped series!!
------------------------------ "Your playing small doesn't serve the world. There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is with in us. It's not just in some of us it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated form our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.

"Seven Nation Army" by the White Stripes. With the power outage in NYC, all that the secretary here can tune in on the radio is WDHA, "The Rock of New Jersey." But as it happens, I really like this song.

*sigh* I have to admit I really like that new R. Kelly joint, I don't know the name of offical name of it I just call it "Step in the name of love" (you know,"step. step. side-to-side"). I'd been trying not to like it because I really don't like him (you know why). But man I like that joint when it comes on in the gym...maybe they can put a mic up to the cell door.

A baseball game. But, what's in my head right now is Lupe Fiasco's "Kick Push." I just love this song. It's sublime. It's not all materialistic/superficial or what Brother Cornel West might call "Constantian." He's not rapping about bling, bitches, or ballin'. It's an ode to skateboarding.

Hi All, I'm new to this website and I've enjoyed reading your comments over the past few days. I look forward to conversing with you in the future.
I'm listening to the new OutKast CD - Idlewild. I can't get enough of it. It's refreshing! I guess the Morris Brown single is my favorite. College football is around the corner and I can hear the drums!
MsNatural Go HBCU's!

there's an interesting story about that (told by Saul Williams)... and I thought Kanye had changed the name of that song. Because the de Beers corp. came up with that slogan to sell, sell, sell diamonds on the backs of the miners in Sierra Leone.

What I know about it is in his vid. That ain't saying much. But the beat is cool. The track he laid down from the old school song is real tight. I'll read up on it.
