The "Nation's Report Card," or the National Assessment for Educational Progress, over the last two years shows most fourth- and eighth-graders in certain city school districts made very little progress in math and reading. And most continue to perform well below the national average. Most worrisome is that the achievement gap between white and students of color has stayed the same, and there is some suggestion that it even may be widening. That's bad news for the Bush administration, which has insisted the gap has been closing under the NCLB law. Eleven city school districts say they are making only slight progress. Between 2003 and 2005, students made very modest progress. The percentage of fourth graders performing below basic in math grew in Atlanta, Chicago, Cleveland, Los Angeles and the District of Columbia; only Austin and Charlotte exceeded the national math average. In reading, Altanta and New York saw their rates go up, but in Houston and Boston, it remains flat.

Be it a professor or otherwise, respect is earned. Respect does not fall from a tree like rotten fruit. Any individual no matter what his or her title may be, is not worthy of respect when his or her aim is to mislead or spread falsehoods, thus two bit professor, liar, etc., would surely be appropriate. Education is a continuous search for truth. A continuous search for misleading information is just that misleading, and any professor, teacher, school principal, President, leader, should lead by setting a good example. The circulation of falsehoods, lies, mis-statement of facts, etc., by any instructor, teacher, professor, or otherwise, make the individual who fits the description, unworthy of praise be it credit for his or her title, credentials, or otherwise!

The very day that I violate the law by speeding, Felony Hit and Run, or otherwise, to which the government would be the plaintiffs, and I the defendant, to which the government would be responsible for all payment of my criminal violations would be the day that this would be true, meaning it won't happen.... .......the exception being the Black community, where this would be a possibility because the Black middleclass although university educated, either don't know, or don't care as to what they are doing, in that perverted activity is honored, and/or praised by so-called university educated individuals from the Black communty. The Black middleclass who believe falsehoods are the problem, and not the Mr. and Mrs. Leon E. Lofton, and/or the Lofton family. ....I'm qualified enough to know what not to follow or represent, and that is all that counts. It would not require a university degree to know this. All that is required is common sense. Perhaps far too many Black people lack common sense. Furthermore, formal education although important is not the only source of reputable information. In addition, I also have the formal education, and I don't need to publicize this reality to prove it.

So the assumption of this statement is "A vote for John Kerry was a vote IN FAVOR OF BLACK PEOPLE"? What a brainwashed state this is.
