The Metaphysics of Shango and the philosophy of Olodumare

Hello philosophers. My name is Johnny Destiny and I am a black philosopher. Here is a brief outline of my philosophy.

The Metaphysics of Shango and the philosophy of Olodumare

Olodumare the infinite State

The infinite State is said to exist since there is the finite State. This can be proved by using the argument for the existence of first principles. Now since I'm in the finite State and Olodumare is an infinite thing. If I say Olodumare doesn't exist then what I'm saying is finte existence is greater than infinite existence; consequently, Olodumare the infinite State is said to exist. This is one of the founding doctrines of my philosophy of Olodumare.

Shango's existence proved

In the philosophy of Olodumare the main proposition is the finite State is the infinite State whereas the finite is illusory and the infinite is real. Consequently, man is two States in one. The two States form one being whom I've called Shango in a manner after my ancestors. Now since I'm a finite thing, and Shango is an infinite thing. If I say Shango doesn't exist then what I'm saying is finite existence is greater than infinite existence. consequently, Shango does exist. Thus Shango is the black man, God is the white man, and Shango and God are equal. Olodumare made the universe and he made Shango and God equal. Thus the natural structure of this universe is that a black man made it.

The mystical instate

I've thus discovered two new categories, Olodumare and the mystical instate. Instate is that category wherein exist the mystical power our ancestors wielded. The traditional African Medicine man or philosopher wields this mystical power, and it is wielded, moreover, by those wise in the ways of Olodumare. Indeed, Aristotle posited ten categories such as quality, quantity, relation, possession, place, passion, posture, action, time, and substance. Since we are black we have to rearrange these categories. The categories now are olodumare, quality, quantity, relation, possession, passion, posture, place, time, action, and instate. Thus the mystical powers exists, they are in the mystical instate. God doesn't have mystic power it is a law of the universe. Shango has the mystical power because Olodumare is the first cause. Olodumare has a priori knowledge of this mystical power wield through the finite State. If there is disharmony between the two States this mystical power becomes corrupt!

Doctrine of immortality

Since man is two States in one and olodumare is the human mind then the mind has always existed. Since the finite State is the infinite State whereas the finite is illusory and the infinite is real, if the finite ends the infinite State is reality. Thus our doctrine of immortality is proved since man is two States in one.

Are there any objections that can be raised against such a philosophy? Please email me with your thoughts!

And may Shango guide and protect you!

WHAT THE HELL............

Mr. Philosopher, you may want to work on your written communication skills because that shit made no sense.
Smile

You created this alone? As in you are the only person in the world who believes it?

May (the True) God guide and bless you. cool
Sistasouljah,
The outline of my philosophy was written in the plainest English!

God doesn't have mystic power. The infinite State comes into this universe as a white man a God it cannot wield mysttic power! Since Religion is before philosophy in the black world, black people are, horror of horrors, worshiping the white man!

God doesn't have mystic power so he cannot bless anyone.

Again, why is this so difficult to understand. God is the white man, and he ain't got no mystic power. Shango has the mystical power because Olodumareis the first cause

It's an interesting thought, dear. Just don't get too worked up when the masses have a problem believing you.

You cannot limit power only to Sango you must extend it out to all who have received ase from Olodumare.
My philosophy was created because there is no metaphysical structure for members of the black race. Most members of the black race have the metaphysics of the white. When they go to the university, instead of coming out thinkers they are coming outbrainwashed. That is one of the reasons why our learning is lagging behind the learning of other races.
I smell a cult in the making.

Note to potential initiates:

There are many metaphysical structures among africans. Perhaps you should study one of them. Perhaps you should study the one whose divinities you have misunderstood. Just a thought.
Fagunwa

Please forgive my ignorance. Would you like to name one or perhaps two of these metaphysical systems among Africans that is written down. There is an interesting book of metaphysics called The Philosophy of Olodumare and Shango. This book is the only work in pure metaphysics by any member of the black race that I know of. If you are aware of others please don't keep them to yourself but share them with me, as I have shared that interesting book with you!

There are a few books out there that do metaphysics from an African American perspective. Most African American philosophers (as is the case with most European philosophers) do very little in the way of metaphysics these days as most would contend that it is purely speculative if not irrelevant to experience in ones lifeworld.

Two books, however, that might be of interest to are Mothership Connection: A Black Atlantic Synthesis of Neoclassical Metaphysics and Black Theology by Theodore Walker, Jr. who teaches at Perkins School of Theology, Southern Methodist University. The other is The Dark Center: A Process Theology of Blackness by Eulalio R Baltazar. I would also suggest works by Henry James Young and Thandeka.

I do not know of works on African metaphysics, but there are some interesting collections by African philosophers. Another source that might be of use is the journal Philosophia Africana.

Hope these help.

That book is written by you and you have already shared your lack of awareness. Try this one "Ifa Will Mend Our Broken World" By Wande Abimbola or better still "Fundamentals of the Yoruba Religion" by Chief Fama. Oh, for us who are initiated into this "religion" there is no seperation between "philosophy", "metaphysics" and religion. That is a euro-centric way of viewing the world, a way which you condemn. I only write to correct the ridiculous way the Yoruba religion is written about by those who know nothing.

This way of viewing the world is understood by a lifetime of study under Elders. Please treat it with the respect it deserves. I don't say this way is better than any other, just equally valid. A famous european Awo was told by his Elder when he asked how to make progress in this way, " Call black black and red red". You have not yet demonstrated the ability to distinguish one color from another.
Johnny,

Would you do me the favor of clearing up a couple of questions I have from your posts?

1. What is the difference between "olodumare" and nothing? You assume either a, what, Zoroastrian-type of dualism or a post hoc ergo propter hoc condition to say that since there is the finite there must be the infinite, an infinite which you seem arbitrarily to name "olodumare" (you did say you "created" this). But why must the finite suggest the infinite? Why doesn't it suggest nothing at all? It would seem to me that if one thing must suggest the existence of something else (it doesn't, but let's assume this for a moment), why does that "something else" need to be infinite? Why can't it be something else finite or something that doesn't exist at all? After all, the finite exists. What it suggests would be...nonexistence?

Unless, that is, you're using the thoughts of Thomas Aquinas (a white man, if my memory serves me) who said that for anything to exist something had to always exist.

The trouble with that is that it does not explain what must exist in order for something to exist now. Even in M-theory we do not deal with an infinite, just an infinite number of finite things that may or may not have an eternal source. We're not nearly done with M-theory yet.

So, why must a finite indicate (not "prove." That's far too ambitious a word for what you've done so far) an infinite?

2. What's the difference between a religion and a philosophy?

You go to some pains to impress on your readers that what you have "created" is a philosophy, not a religion, but in your philosophy you include a creation-myth, which generally is the province of religion. So what is the difference between a religion and a philosophy, or more to the point, between a religion and your philosophy?

3. Why are you adamant about the evil of "white" philosophy, and yet use "white" (ancient Greek) philosophy in your philosophy?

You wrote:

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Didn't Plato say this something over two thousand years ago? You remember his allegory of the cave, about the only thing high school textbooks seem to tell students about Plato?

Except that even he didn't say something quite so contradictory: "the finite state is the infinite state"? I hope that that's a typo.

4. If something can be "proved," as you've said,

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++
The infinite State is said to exist since there is the finite State. This can be proved by using the argument for the existence of first principles.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++

then why don't you go ahead and prove it? You didn't. The first problem with this statement is that "first principles" are not and never can be "proved." They can only be assumed. This makes your statement say,

"This is can be proved by using the argument for the existence of assumptions."

Do you really want to say that?
Melesi

I shall answer your objections as succinctly as possible.

1 What is the difference between olodumare and nothing?

First, we must begin our researches with something. We cannot begin our researches with nothing. I thus begin my research with a finite existing thing. Let us say myself. Can anyone doubt they exist unless they are lunatic? Now since I am sure of finite existence, I will after all die, infinite existence naturally follows since it is greater than the finite existence we see around us all day. I called this infinite existence olodumare because I am black, and my ancestors came from West Africa. Finite existence cannot indicate another finite thing, because they are both the same and one could not by definition begat the other. If what I have said sounds clear thus far, since there is finite existence and now infinite existence it is impossible that there could be nonexistence!

Thomas Aquinas might have came up with this argument for the existence of first principles, but I don't think he phrased it the way I did. And yes, I am quite aware that he was white. The black race do owe the white but we were their happy slaves for hundreds of years so that is payment enough for the debt!

NextYou say that it still doesn't explain how the finite thing came to be? Then we would have to explain the origin of the universe. I have said else where that it was created mystically because in the beginning were these two States. One is finite and the other is infinite. How can I explain that something is finite and yet it had no beginning? The only way around this is there has always been a finite thing existing alongside the infinite thing. Since, and you pointed this out in your post, there are an infinite amount of finite things. It just happens that it comes to an end, is made, then it ends, is made and then it ends, ad infinitum.

What is the difference between religion and philosophy?

Let us go to the dictionary for a definition. Philosophy is logical analysis of the principles underlying thought, conduct, knowledge and the structure of the universe. While religion is worshipping a supreme being. That is what the dictionary says.

What I have created is philosophy and religion. It is philosophy first because of my scientific arguments and it is religion because mystical power is being manipulated! For that is what religion truely is. It is nothing else but the manipulation of this mystical power that exists in the instate. That is why I have rearranged Aristotle's categories!

If I have indicated white philosophy to be evil that is an error. There is no such thing as evil in the universe, it is in a state of perfection.

Why does my philosophy has parallels with the philosophy of the Greeks? Because I am in the Western world. But be careful it is not only the Greeks who insists on this dualism. The Chinese does and so does the Hindu.

Not Only Plato said something similiar so did the Eleatic philosophers, Zeno and Parmenides. Since Zeno and Parmenides were before Plato they must be considered to be the originator of that doctrine for the white world. There's were true being is singular and unchanging while plurality, motion, and change are illusory. That was the doctrine of the Eleatic philosophers.

When I saythe finite State is the infinite State whereas the finite is illusory and the infinite is real. What I am saying is the finite thing is the infinite in finite form!
so there is no contradiction! Man is two States in one. He's not singular but dual only the infinite State is singular!
I proved it by using the argument for the existence of first principles. And with this argument I have proved Shango's existence. Again, religion is nothing else but the manipulation of this mystical power that exists in the mystical instate, and that proves it too.

Why did the Greeks white people get this wonderful doctrine before the West Africans, black people? It was not because the Greeks were smarter than anyone else, it was simply because their society was organized first. But because of prejudice the Greeks thought that they were superior to the Babarians. And likewise the white world thinks they are superior ro the black. They do not know that the natural structure of this universe is that a black man made it!

I disagree with your doctrine about first principles. They can be proved by logical argument and secondly by manipulating all of nature, which again is what religion is.
I hope I have answered all your objections!

Please feel free to purchase the Book The philosophy of Olodumare and Shango at amazon.com where this wonderful doctrine is explained even further!

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

H'm. "Naturally follows." Ockham's Razor, anyone?

I wouldn't go so far as to say quite what you have. While we must begin our researches with "something," that something is very important and had better be right. I'm not sure yours is, because it looks like a principle invented to fit a presuppostion. We'll get to that at the end, here.

First, your principle is arbitrary: "I call it Olodumare because I am black" is the application of a metaphysic based on the accidents of skin color and birth. By that argument you have no reason to disagree with a white man saying "I call it God because I am Christian." Yet you do, saying that he is wrong.

"God" is not mystical, you say, for God is the white man. This is either inconsistent or a double standard, the only difference here between the two being deliberation.

The application of meaning to an arbitrary principle is illogical.

You connect an observable--our existence--with an unobservable reason, arbitrarily chosen, that is basically irrelevant as far as I can see to the existence of the observable.

For most of the history of philosophy, "Why is there something and not nothing/" has not been used as an argument for understanding the creation of the cosmos (used in its more technical, Greek sense of an ordered world). Rather its been used in contemplating the existence of the world at all, and it has depended on how one approaches it.

Descartes, for example, used a more or less reductionist method, ridding our knowledge of all except the directly observable and apprehensible. Augustine began in the middle, so to speak, arguing that we decide on the beginning by seeing how well it fits with what we see around us now, since that is all we really have to work with.

I find that most of us today seem to use a form of that Augistinian argument: understanding the world as we do, we choose a beginning that fits our understanding.

That certainly looks like what you've done, and that's my problem with it. Not to mention that it leads you to an unfortunate conclusion.

It must be a (the?) reason that you eventually say--as I understand it--that one of the fundamental doctrines of this Olodumare/Shango "metaphysic" is the overthrow of the United States. I do not see the need for this kind of conclusion in a metaphysic, but I can see that one would arrive at it if one begins in the middle and then shapes the past to fit that middle, which gives the future any shape one wants.

It doesn't seem like a very good metaphysic to me.
Melesi, call me Johnny!

Let us return to your objections.

You say that something is very important and had better be right

Are you prepared to say you don't exist to disprove my metaphysical doctrine. For if you say you don't exist, for that is the finite existing thing, who is reading these posts? If you agree that you exist then my doctrine is proved, since infinite existence is greater than finite existence!

Are you prepared to deny the doctrine that the universe is in a state of perfection. Since this is admitted as true by learned philosophers how could the metaphysic be based on accidents of skin color and birth? Since I've shown Olodumare and Shango to have necessary existence, how could there be accidents in the universe.

I have often said the universe was created mystically and since Shango, the black man, has the mystical power then he must be the author of it! God doesn't have mystic power, it is a law of the universe. If God doesn't have mystic power how could he be the creator of the universe? For the white man to call the uncreated God, what then is the created? Is that not God too? Since the two States are one being the white man is God! So we see that white men are dissembling. Or if they admit they are God, it is the metaphysical structure of the European, they would make the ludicris statement that they have mystic power. How could a white man have mystic power when a black man created the universe. God, again, doesn't have mystic power. And, neither does the Goddess!

Why? Because everything was used up in the creation of the universe. So olodumare doesn't have the mystic power. To wield mystic power olodumare must come into the universe as Shango, the black man, for the mystical power is in the finite State. It is in the mystical instate! My great discovery! And, only black men have an instate. It is unique to the black race, like there skin color!

There is nothing inconsistant or a double statement about my utterances The metaphysical structure of the white man is that he's a God, but he likes to say he's got mystic power. Again, God doesn't have mystic power, it is a law of the universe!

Are you prepared to say that infinite existence, immortality, is irrelevant. Infinite existence is greater than finite existence. That's a scientific doctrine!

Your objections are riddled with contradictions. How can you use this Augistinian argument? Who made this universe? that is a simple question. Are you prepared to answer it? I say a black man made it, and that black man is Shango, the two States. The infinte State and the finite State!

Again, the United States was founded not by God, the white man, but by God and Shango, the black man and the white. But the white man took all the credit for it. He even became so drunk with power that he said that God created the universe. Again, how could God create the universe when heain't got no mystic power! The only one who have mystical power in this universe is Shango. Please feel free to study the doctrine where I have rearranged Aristotle's categories! All societies are changed from the bottom up, never from the top down. Thus African AMericans are destined, mark the word, to overthrow the United States governement, it is a law of the universe. The only way it can be averted is for white men to start to say that Olodumare and Shango created the universe not God, the white man.

The whole of European history is based on a lie! And, that lie is God created the cosmos. How could God create the universe when he ain't got no mystic power!

And, all those theories about it beginning with a big bang are silly and childish! It was created mystically!

And remember this, Shango created God and made him equal. So although Shango and Olodumare created the universe, olodumare made Shango and God equal!

Each race has its own governing structure of the universe. For the white man it is God, for the black man it is Olodumare and Shango, for the arab it is Allah, for the chinaman it is the Tao, for the plains Indian it is the Great Spirit, for the Hindu it is Brahman! etc.

No, I think you misunderstand. I do exist, but my existence does not neccesitate an infinite.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Yes. The universe is. I react to it in certain ways, normally with emotions of awe and delight, but it is not perfect. It changes. Stars are born and die, sometimes explosively. Venus has an atmoshpere of sulphuric acid, Mars is cold, the moon was born of a collision between the earth and some planet-sized rock, the Microwave Background Radiation is rippled and uneven, nebulae expand and dissipate, binary stars circle each other until one engulfs the other, one day our galaxy--itself the result of absorbing other galaxies--will merge with the Andromeda Galaxy. Before that happens, the sun will swallow the earth and eventually burn out and die. Viruses kill. Bacteria kill. Flies and beetles compete for carcasses. "Perfect"? No. Interesting? Yes, deeply so, but that's in me, not inherent in the universe. My dog doesn't find astronomy interesting. She doesn't even find bugs interesting. Dinner, yes. Black holes and mitochondria, no. "Perfect" is a pronouncement of human emotion, not of philosophical objectivity.

You have not shown olodumare and shango to have necessary existence. You haven't even shown that they are possible, let alone probable, let alone necessary.

I'm sorry? The "white man" does not have "a" metaphysical structure. A metaphysic is learned, it is not inherent, and I believe that I have seen that white people have more than one metaphysic.

What do you mean?

And how is it a "law of the universe" that God des not have mystic power?

Once you appealed to a dictionary definition. Here are a couple:

This is from the online Encyclopedia of Philosophy:
++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Theism is the view that God is unlimited with regard to knowledge (omniscience), power (omnipotence), extension (omnipresence), and moral perfection; and is the creator and sustainer of the universe.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++

And from the Merriam-Webster online dictionary::

+++++++++++++++++++++++++
1 capitalized : the supreme or ultimate reality: as a : the Being perfect in power, wisdom, and goodness who is worshiped as creator and ruler of the universe b Christian Science : the incorporeal divine Principle ruling over all as eternal Spirit : infinite Mind
2 : a being or object believed to have more than natural attributes and powers and to require human worship; specifically : one controlling a particular aspect or part of reality
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Sounds pretty mystical to me.

So why do you say that God has no mystical power?

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Unless I badly misunderstand you, it looks like you have your history a bit crabbed. God was said to exist long before there was a United States, even before there was a Rome. What has the US to do with the concept of God?

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Each race has its own governing structure of the universe.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

And each race could be wrong. You certainly say that whites are wrong. I think you may have a problem with your metaphysic since it seems to be race-based.

The Philosophy of Olodumare the infinite State

Hello Melesi, Let us examined all you objections to my philosophy one at a time.
You wrote.

___________________________________________

I must disagree with you on this important point. Simply because we know the nature of the finite State we can infer properties of the infinite State. What are these properties. Olodumare the infinite State cannot end. Yes, The finite State is not greater than the infinite State Olodumare. For it must be folly to presuppose that existence that ends is greater than existence that never ends!
Why did I call the infinite State Olodumare, simply because I am black, and my ancestors came from West Africa where Shango is worhsiped. What proof can I show for this utterance. The argument for the existence of first principles is a scientific arguement since it is true. Are you familiar with this arguement? Why compare such a subtle doctrine as mines to the doctrine of the Swedes? Olodumare made Thor and made him equal to Shango. Why? Because all are equal in the finite State. There is great differences between Olodumare and Thor because one is black and the other white. Remember man is not simply the finite State. He is two States in one, finite and infinite. The finite State being the infinite State whereas the finite is illusory and the infinite is real! The infinite State is what is the same between Olodumare and Thor, the finite State is what is different thus I can easily make the claim that Shango is black and Thor or God is white.

Again, how can you say the universe is not in a state of perfection. Perfection means that it is infinite and it will never end. Perfection doesn't mean that the universe agrees with your aesthetic point of view. A woman who weighs three hundred pounds is just as perfect as one who weighs 120 lbs. The most beautiful girl in the world is just as perfect as the most hideous! Why, because all are equal in the finite State! That is perfection.

______________________________________________

You have not shown olodumare and shango to have necessary existence. You haven't even shown that they are possible, let alone probable, let alone necessary

_______________________________________________

Let me show you again for you seemed to have missed it!
The first cause of this universe is the creator of it. How could God create the universe when he ain't got no mystic power. According to John Mbiti in African life there is this power that exist. This power is termed mystical by African philosophers. I have located the source of this mystical power. It is in the mystical instate. That is why I have rearranged Aristotle's categories. I see that you were unusually silent about that! Did you study the doctrine about the mystical instate? If you did then you would be convinced that Shango and Olodumare are perfect and necessary.

______________________________________________

Yes, you have said so. You come nowhere near proving it, though.
________________________________________________

Metaphysics is the science of first principles. It is a proven fact that the first human settlements were in Africa South of the Sahara. Thus all mankind evolved from the bosum of the African. In metaphysical terminology The black man, Shango with assistance from Olodumare made God, the white man, Tao, the Chinaman, Allah, the Arab, Shinto, the Japanese, Pele, the polynesian, The Great Spirit, the plains indians, Quelzolcoat, the Aztec, Yahweh, the Jew, They made them all and made them all equal. Why? Because all are equal in the finite State. God, the white man seems to think this doctrine of equality exempts him because of his white skin! That is what is known as prejudice. Again, how could the white man create the universe when he ain't got no mystic power!

______________________________________________

I'm sorry? The "white man" does not have "a" metaphysical structure. A metaphysic is learned, it is not inherent, and I believe that I have seen that white people have more than one metaphysic.

_______________________________________________

I must disagreee forcefully with you on this point, Melesi. The nature of the human mind is that it is founded on metaphysics. Without a metaphysical structure there is no thinking. Since we are debating philosophy, only God or substance is the metaphysic of the white race. Nothing else. Again, I must repeat, and study it carefully, melesi. How could God create the universe when he ain't got no mystic power! He likes to brag about it on television, in books, in the movies, well I would like to see this mystic power white men say they are wielding! I have tested this doctrine in depth, Melesi. The movie the Wizard of Oz, is a classic. Why? Because it is an allegory about the condition of the white man, he is a God and he ain't got no mystic power! Shango has the mystical power because Olodumare is the first cause!

And how is it a "law of the universe" that God des not have mystic power?

________________________________________________

Do you know why Thales was the first philosopher of the white race? Because he said that the universe operated under laws! There for one of the founding doctrines of Shangoism is that God the white man doesn't have mystic power. It is most laughable that you consider a dictionary definition to be mystic. Look at the sun that's mystic! Come on!

Look at the unfathomble corners of the galaxy, that's mystic not a dictionary definition. That's only used for brainwashing people.

God is the white man and white men ain't got no mystic power!

Who created this universe? Olodumare and Shango, and that's why our race is the last in everything,not because we are enamored with dullness of mind, but because the black man is the master and it is impossible that the master should go first! Please, feel free to purchase the book, The Philosophy of Olodumare and SHango, by Oswald Eckles, Jr. where this wonderful doctrine is explained in depth.
Melesi,

What law is it that infinite existence is greater than finite existence?

The law of common sense. That is just two of the great discoveries I have made with this doctrine.
The Philosophy of Olodumare and Shango

I think that I have made a revolutionary discover in my metaphysics. And, that discovery is the mystical instate! That is why I have rearranged Aristotle's categories.

Does anyone know what other caribbean island the Yoruba religion is practiced other than Trinidad and Tobago?
BIZARRO THREAD OF THE MONTH.
Cuba but why limit your search to Yoruba? You can check for the many African systems practiced in the diaspora.

This thread is no more bizzare than some of the xtian stuff I read here. It' just that johnnyd doesn't know anything about Ifa so he used the names and made up his own thing. Some would say that xtianity is just ancient principals misunderstood and misapplied and equally bizzare.
Johnny D, Melesis 1st question comes from a lack of understanding of the African principle/philosophy of 'unity in opposites'. Even though it is this very unity that creates life, incluiding his. He is thinking from his European cosmological worldview.

JD to say the 'Black Race' doesn't have any (inject any words)... is rediculous.

Fagunwa,

I second what you said about the Bizaro comment.

Where did you get that avatar photo? ...I have to send that photo out to my friends. What is Clinton doing/saying ect. in that picture?
Woman you have been missed! This board is on some real... nevermind. Bill got "made" back home and he is celebrating.
The Philosophy of Olodumare and Shango just published.

Central doctrine.
God is the white man, and God ain't got no mystic power. Mystical power gets wielded only in this universe by the black man. Because the natural structure of this universe is a black man made it. And, I am Bigger Thomas. A CIA operative cannot take on Bigger Thomas. He created this universe with the doctrine of the Du rag. You all ain't gonna swipe that doctrine.
Johnny Destiny,

How has the black man manifested his mystic powers? Am I missing something?
The Philosophy of Olodumare and Shango!

Herustar,
The Black man's power is mystical! And it exists as I proved. I have just published a book called The Philosophy of Olodumare and Shango where the source of this power is discovered to be the mystical instate. Let's Start discussing it! I put up an outline of it.
In order to discuss it, I have to understand it.
Explain to me what elements or concepts you use as your premise. Walk me through the building blocks of reaching the Olodumare belief.

I'll start by telling you that I believe we all (races) have access to 'mystic' powers. However this 'Ra' (as I call it) is out of reach "Lest we become as Gods". It is out of reach to the spiritually unworthy and unfit. Why would Olodumare entrust a human being that thinks and acts like an animal, with mystic powers?

Our principe of Unity in Opposites is very similar to the Chinese classical Daoist "Yin/Yang" view. Smile

Herustar,

First we must understand that the universe is made up of States. That is the structure of this universe. There are finite things so there is the finite State. Since the finite State exists there is the infinite State Olodumare. No one would say that finite existence is greater than infinite existence so my doctrine is proven a posteriori as well. I'll define metaphysics for you philosophers. It is the science of first principles. No less an authority than Aristotle made that statement.

Now in the beginning of the universe were these two States. The universe is not made up of Forms as Plato suggested. And it wasn't created by no God for I have often said God doesn't have mystic power! God is the white man and white men do not have mystic power in this universe! God is not a spirit. The two States exist for the white man too. So the white man is finite and infinite. Why then doesn't he have mystic power? Because this universe was made by a black man, immortal Shango! The other Orishas did a wonderful job two. And Oya taught hot tempered Shango how to fight!

I'll say it again, and it's all in the book available for purchase at Amazon.com and Barnes and noble.com and iUniverse.com. The Philosophy of Olodumare and Shango by Oswlad Eckles, Jr. details the sturcture of this new philosophy.

That is why I have rearranged Aristotle's categories. And made the startling discovery about the mystical instate. That's where exists the mystical power our ancestors wielded.
Aristotle and plato aint got no mystic power!
Aristotle and Plato did not have mystic power because they were Gods, white men. Shango, Obatala, Oschun, Oya, Yemoja, Ogun, Ifa, Eshu, and etc are wielding mystical power!

lol@ the thought of that!
Did the black man create the universe in his finite and infinite state? Or did he create it in his infinite state? Also why would a man create a people in his image, and strategically place them at the bottom of the power curve where they are manipulated and exploited?

The finite and infinite State immortal Shango created this universe. There has always been a finite thing existing alongside the infinite State Olodumare.

And, why would the black man create the universe and place himself at the bottom and out of power? Because the black man is the true master and it is impossible that the master should go first! You do not make a universe then rush to the head of the line. You let the Others go first and when they have had their fill then you follow. That is how a true master thinks and acts. That is how a philosopher thinks and acts.

Yes, the black man is exploited and manipulated, but remember this, that is the master, He is just acting! And remember this he has this mystical power!

And, this is Destiny. The black race is going to fight the white. There is no if ands or buts about it. That is how the black man is going to become a man by taking on that splendid European, that God!
