Since you are hesitant to purchase my work let me give you an outline of it. The first chapter deals with Metaphysics, wherein is distil the origin of that term and the structure of the metaphysical principle I have discovered.

I lay the basic foundation for the understanding of Metaphysics and suggests the reason why I chose Olodumare and Shango--because I am from Trinidad and Tobago.

I also show that each race has its own governing structure of the universe. For the Plains Indian it is The Great Spirit, Buddha is the East Asian, God is the white man. Shango is the Black man. Quetzalcoat is the Aztec, Brahman is the Hindu, Allah is the Arab, The Sikh is Part Indian and Arab, Shaman is the Korean, Shinto is the japanese, The Tao is the Chinaman and so on.

I proved and show that the world originated from Olodumare the infinite State and Shango, these two states!

Olodumare the infinite State

The next chapter deals with Olodumare the infinite State. What is the infinite State Olodumare? It is important to begin any discussion with a defination. So I define infinite as something that never ends. If the word infinite is attached to anything for example the Aristotlian category of quantity, that quantity will never end for it will be folly to say that something is infinite and yet it ends. If something is infinite it could not have had a beginning. For example the Aristotlian category of quantity.

The infinite State Olodumare I posit as the human mind. One is supposed to be guided by this State in our thoughts. If one does not hear this State then one is said not to be in touch with ones deepest elements and structures.

Thus the infinite State is taken to be something that exists, that is, our universe, existing at the same time with the finite State.

Since Olodumare the infinite State is the human mind and which is the same thing our universe, we cannot see our thoughts as originating inside our heads.

If you hear thoughts coming from inside your head that means you are brainwashed! That is one of the elements of mind control!

I thus show that Shango is the black man and he's these two States, since there are an infinite amount of finite things such a doctrine cannot be taken to be fanciful.

The finite State is illusory and the infinite is reality, and in the beginning were these two States!

The finite State needs Olodumare the infinite State, and if we need an estimate of the time of existence of these two States one last for a second while the other lasts for all eternity!

I show also that these two States are not infinite distances apart. The exist together right here on earth!

I show and deduce that Olodumare the infinite State is quite aware of its structure. Since Olodumare is a thinking thing then he is the human mind!

In the universe these two States exists together. Everywhere there is matter there is Olodumare the infinite State

Next I shall explicate the finite State!

The Structure of the finite State

The finite State is a State that exist in our universe rendering things finite. This State exist and is illusory. It exists alongside Olodumare the infinite State

Since there are finite things there is the finite State.

Since there is the finite State there is Olodumare the infinite State.

I must point out that Shango is not the finite State, what Shango is is the infinite State and the finite State.

Then we can see that the relationship of things in the finite State is that all are equal!

Thus there has been always a finite Thing existence alongside Olodumare the infinite State. It just happens that one is illusory and the other is real.


Thus under ontology and metaphysics are being and non-being.

Being is Olodumare and non-being is the finite State the two States are one being called Shango!

The Metaphysics of Shango

Now, let us continue with our dialectic. The Afrocentrics say that African philosophy begins with the philosophy of the Egyptians. It is said that Ptah-hotep was a philosopher of morals, the first in a long line of distinguised Egyptian philosophers. With the decline of the Egyptian Empire African philosophy remains quiet.


African philosophy raises its head in the solitary 17th Century with the works of an Abyssinian Philosopher Zar'a Ya'aqob. His works were writtin for the faithful and were theological in structure. Designed, I might add, to resolve his faith with the Other vying for attention. So the philosophy of Europe had taken hold of the black man by then and his metaphysical structure could not be taken to be his own.

Then there was the epoch making work, Bantu Philosophy. This work invented the concept of ethnophilosophy. This philosophical doctrine was designed, I do not doubt it, for conquest. It made the alarming claim to have discovered some principle of the black man, the so-called vital force. The Noble Bantu were purported to exist in a world of forces, Force is being and being is force, thus the metaphysical principle of the Bantu celebrated this structure as the order of the universe.


Now, how does one know that this force exists. And, I might add, the Bantu committed an apostasy in relation to other doctrines, because of the existence of Tempels, the writer of the work, in their midst.

Thus the finite State is the infinite State whereas the finite is illusory and the infinite is real is designed to create a mental structure which is the origin of consciousness.

Thus positing Shango as equal to God is a designed doctrine that is reasonable, pragmatic, and sure.

The reason that I have posited Shango then is because of the scientific researches of some writers. For they detail Shango as existing amoung the Yoruba of West Africa!

So I have taken the first principle of Shango, and since it now exist in Trinidad, Grenada, Brazil, Haiti, America, Benin, Togo, and Nigeria, I have applaid it, across the board to the entire black race!

We will then take this first principle and engraft it onto the race, in anyway we can!

Now, this is the most important part of the Metaphysics of Shango. I have taken the argument for the existence of first principles and Applaid it to Shango to prove that he exists. This argument was invented by Europeans to prove the existence of their first principle. It goes like this.

Since I'm in the finite State and Shango is an infinite thing, if I say Shango doesn't exist then what I'm saying is finite existence is greater than infinite existence consequently, Shango does exist. Thus Shango is the Black man, God is the white man, and Shango and God are equal!

Since I've shown Shango to exist then he's immortal. He cannot be destroyed. And, moreover, he is the first cause of this universe. He created it with this subtle doctrine.

What is the problem then? There is no metaphysical principle written down for the black man until now. This is the first, I might add, doctrine, I am not being supercillious, where the metaphysical structure is true.

Now, every race has its own metaphysical principle. I just happens that some are written down, and others, no doubt, are not.

Shango has application to the metal structure that is to say consciousness.

That is why he has mystical powers. He is the only one who can wield mystical power in this universe since he made it. Moreover, he cannot part with this mystical power that exist in the mystical instate. A new category that I have discovered. IT IS MY GREAT DISCOVERY!

Thus Olodumare and Shango are the first principles of the black race, they created the universe. And, moreover, that is why the black man is last because he is the true master and it is impossible that the master should go first.

I can prove Shango's existence from the concept of an finite thing. No one would say that finite existence is greater than infinite existence then Shango is said to exist, since, as I have pointed out he is these two States.

I shall continue my dialectic with the Metaphysics of Shango later.

I understand now, that the black retention of the religion of the Western world is done for one reason and one reason alone, revenge for slavery. Thus they preventing the white man from unifying with his first principle and getting his just deserts!

Comparative Study of Platonism and Shangoism

The next chapter of my work deals with Plato and his doctrine of Forms.

Upon entrance to the world stage a unique philosophy is usually met with unbelief, horror, and finally weary assent. This is because things new are subject to the orthodox guardians of reaction and so as to remove our doctrine from the gaze of people so inclined let us compare it the that elder stateman of philosophy Plato.

What was Plato's doctrine of Forms? This doctrine was that things get there reality from an eternal realm the Forms! This things in the material world are an unreal copy of those that exist in the eternal realm of the Forms.

Plato's dialectical method is a process skillfully used by his master Socrates to show where fallacy lie and to discover the scientific facts.

Thus Plato assumed that everyone in the Hellenistic world were familiar with this doctrine of Forms as the organizing structure of the universe for the Greeks.

How does this doctrine of Forms compare with our doctrine of States?

State is a condition as regards physical structure, constitution, form, stage or phase of existence.

But it is to be kept in mind that States and Forms are not synonyms. In the philosophy of States the universe is made up of these two States. One finite illusory and the other infinite Olodumare real. The universe is not made up of Forms. In the mind of Plato and the white race it is but not in our philosophy of States. The organizing structure of the universe for the black man.


I might point out that Shango is not the finite State. What Shango is is the finite State and the infinite State so in the beginning were these two States.

Using this dialectical approach we see that our doctrine compares favorably with the doctrine of Plato.

But I do not want to taint my philosophy with that of Plato's.

Plato's Forms such as Beauty, Love, Goodness, existed for the white race. That is there metaphysical structure. Under those Forms fall the Good.

The metaphysical structure for the black race is now being built.

So as not to weary the reader with too much prolixity I shall conclude this chapter with a remark.

There are two States in this universe. One is illusory, the finite State, and the other is real, the infinite State Olodumare. These two States form one being whom I've called Shango in the manner after my ancestors.

The metaphysics of the Eleatics laid the foundation for the mental structure of the Greeks, and held various doctrines as to the nature of true being.

In the world there exist something the likes of which men dream about. It cannot be generated, corrupted, destroyed, or created by anyone or anything. It has no Shape existing as I said, beyond space and time, Olodumare the infinite State!

Thus being and non-being are these two States existing as the natural structure of the universe. Again, I must point out that being and non-being is Shango!

We see then from our researches that the Eleatic Stranger is the white man who started the process and the black man finishes it. The black man then is the first cause of the cosmos. I will say it again the natural structure of this universe is a black man made it! That is why Shango is enamored with the mystical arts!

Mathematics has as its construct the dividing of number into different spheres. Thus all science and mathematics and physics flow from the infinite State Olodumare while the finite State has nothing. It exists but is illusory.

Paradoxes were doctrines that delighted Zeno, and he was the founder of dialectics.

So I am the founder of Black metaphysics in the African world!

Shangoism and Brahmanism in comparative ideology

Now, let us study this wonderful doctrine of the Hindoos. What is Brahman? Brahman is the reality the emerged from Vedic literature as the reality that pervades the universe. Thus, Brahman, inexplicably, is the first principle of the Hindoo, the world of reality and illusion for that race.

The supreme good of the Hindoo was the understanding and coming to grips with this reality as the mental structure of his race.

Brahman is the Hindoo the same way God is the white man. So Shango made God, Allah, the Tao, Brahman, the Buddha, the Great Spirit, Yahweh,the Sikh, Quetzalcoatl, and Shinto, and Pele. He made them and made them all equal because all are equal in the finite State!

Just because Shango made the universe doesn't mean he's anywit superior to these other first principles. All are equal in the finite State.

The caste system of the Hindoo I would have to by pass in silence but since all are equal this might be of some help to the Hindoo.

Brahmanism is a subtle doctrine and equal to Shangoism but Brahman, alas, doesn't have mystic power neither. The only one who can wield mystical power in this universe is Shango since he made it.

The universe was made mystically not with a big bang and since Shango has the mystical power then he must be the author of it! It is quite logical that he has the mystical power, which, I shall prove, exists in the mystical instate, one of my Great discoveries!

Shango then is the reality behind Brahman the same way he's the reality behind God, the white man.

Brahmanism is a wonderful and powerful doctrine and allows the Hindoo race to think. Without Brahman the Hindoos noted for their quickness of wit and intelligence would cease to think.


And, moreover, this is why, looking into the matter, that the black race has not produced any men of intellect to match other races. Not because we are slow in intellect something I deny vigorously, but because the metaphysical structure is now being built!

Brahmanism and Shangoism are equal doctrines. But Shangoism will not spread with acrimony and ill will. Not like Allah's doctrine that was spread violently. Nor the lightskined Hindoos running roughshod over their darker skinned brethren.

Shangoism will be spread according to heart to heart affordeth. Where there is amity, peace, and love.

Because of this mystical power that's being manipulated, which is what religion is, Shangoism will triumph!

Shangoism then is the finite State is the infinite State whereas the finite is illusory and the infinite is real, consequently, man is two States in one. The two States are one being whom I've called Shango in a manner after my ancestors. Shangoism believes in poverty, non-hedonism, rationalism, etc, all in comformity with Shango!

Taoism and Shangoism in Comparative Ideology

The Tao is known as the way. It is the essence of the universe, of moral life, etc, of the Chinaman. The Tao is the metaphysical structure of the universe for the Chinese race and allows them to think.

Taoist philosophy has thus had an immersurable affect on the Chinaman, and is the first among the Chinese classics.

The Yijing is among the first in Chinese classics and indicates how the world hangs together. What is the being behind the beings.

Since Shango made the universe he made the Tao the same way he made God and they are equal. Again, just because Shango made the universe doesn't mean he's any wit superior to these other first principles.

I have often said all are equal in the finite State!

The Tao is the mental structure for the chinaman.

Taoism was founded by Laotzu it advocated simplicity, selfisness, etc, in comformity with the Tao!

Again, I saw a Japanese movie where the Tao was shown to be behaving mystically. I am sorry to say but the Tao doesn't have mystic power neither. Again, the only one who can wield mystical power in this universe is the black man. He is the natural structure of this universe, and the creator of it.

I have deduced and shown that man is two States in one. The chinese philosophers seem to have allighted on that fact for they call the two worlds the Tao and the de. The Tao being the infinite State, and the de being the finite State.

We see that our doctrine compares favorably with these august Chinese philosophers!

Categories in the Philosophy of Olodumare and Shango

What are the categories of Aristotle? Why did he feel in necessary to invent such a scheme of categories?

Let us begin our next discussion by listing the categories of Aristotle. They are quality, quantity, relation, possession, place, passion, posture, action, time, and substance.

He felt it necessary to invent such a scheme because he wanted to include everything in the universe under these categories.

Now,again, Aristotle was a white philosopher and I am a black philosopher so I have to rearrange these categories of Aristotle Thus substance is out and Olodumare and instate is in.

I shall deconstruct these categories of Aristotle.


The categories in Shangoism look like this quality, quantity, relation, possession, place, passion, posture, action, time, Olodumare, and instate.

Now we shall take these categories and define them according to the relation between the finite State and the infinite State.

Let us take the first and most important category Olodumare. Now I have gone over why olodumare exists. I have shown he is the first cause in the universe for the black man. Moreover, I have gone on at length why he is the first cause.

Olodumare, then, is the category of infinity and the head Orisha. Keeping in the mind the nature of the infinite State can help us when it comes to unraveling the mystery of this wonderful category.

Doing things alone is one of the pleasures enjoyed by Olodumare. This is because he is a perfection and doesn't like being sullied with imperfection. Not that the finite State or Shango is not a perfection, for I have shown that existence, the finite State, and Shango since he's immortal are perfections.

This wonderful category is the cosmic order undergirding all things, and the arbitor of all disputes between the Orishas.

For if the whites want to boast about their God we'll just say that he ain't got no mystic power, that Shango has it along with the other Orishas like, Obatala, Ogun, Eshu, Oshun, yemoja, oya, immortal Shango, and all the other Orishas.


Because nature is infinite there is Olodumare the category of infinity, the being behind the beings.

The next category is quality. Quality has to do with the way a thing is made. How good is it, and how long will it stay in existence is mainly due to quality. Without this category men might not do things with appropriate aplomb, and instead of excellence things might be made impure and halfway.

This wonderful category is important because we need a standard by which things can be judged. Without this category cars might break down as soon as we get them off the lot, houses might be in need of constant repair.

Quality indicates that the universe has a value not in name of dollars and cents but in the name of livability. For everywhere man has gone he has survive.

Even the eskimo living in so secluded an area has survived and this is known mainly to quality!

I shall tackle the other categories next!

Deconstruction of Aristotle's Categories in Shangoism

Let us continue our dialetic with the deconstruction of the other categories.

Quantity is the category that has to do with amount. This is an important category because I would like to suggest a number to things in the finite State and the infinite State.

That the number associated with the infinite State is one and the number associated with the finite State is infinity should now be clear.

Thus quantity indicates a number to the cosmos, though not in the manner of the pythogoreans. It indicates, then, that Olodumare has been able to place phenomena and images into the world due to this wonderful category!

Aristotle suggested this category because he wanted the cosmos to be permanent, we see, moreover, that there will always be enough things to go around all because of this wonderful category!

This wonderful category is of great concern to immortal Shango. Since he will be in the finite State for all eternity, he must pay careful attention to this category.

This category indicates things are numbered and it is that which is least understood by those who have tried to unravel the mystery of these Aristotlian categories.

This is an important and dangerous part of my work, for as Fagunwa has suggested I have taken the Immortal Orisha Shango and using the dialectical methodology of the Western world shown why he exist and shown his structure. Because the universe is infinite we must proceed with the deconstruction of these Aristotlian categories very careful.

Hold on cowboy, you have not shown any Orisha's "structure". In order to do that you would have to know what Odu this energy manifests in and how to invoke it. Even then you would not know it's "structure". If you had tefa you would hopefully learn to invoke odu and that would enable you to "channel" every "spirit" in yoruba metaphysics but this would not allow you to know it's structure the way you write it. The structure of all things is ODU. Got it?

Time is the next category and the understanding of it is very important in our philosophy.

Time indicates an order in the cosmos for all things follow an event in time and can be founded under the concept of time.

Time, again, indicates that somethings follow some things existed and some things did not.

In the finite State an event went before the eyes and unfolded an orderly coupling of events. This is because of this wonderful category!

Deconstructing these Aristotlian categories is interesting and fun!

Time has application to these two States. One existing and encompassing all time, and consequently, time has no application to it--Olodumare the infinite State. The other the finite State being bounded under the concept of time.

Time indicates an orderly unfolding of events in the cosmos, and under the banner of time is that which one can then claim to be his own. This is because of this wonderful category.

Of all the categories in The philosophy of Olodumare and Shango this is the most subtle, next to the mystical instate.

Because there is an abstract quality to time, this is based on our senses, we must be careful how we use it.


Moreover, time should never be misused. For it is more stealthy and cunning than the best trained soldier.

Because of this wonderful category, we see that there are great and wonderful things in the universe.

And, here is destiny, the black race is immortal!

This is thanks to immortal Shango and his wonderful philosophy and category of time.

Next is the category of possession!

Aristotlian Categories in The Philosophy of Oloudmare and Shango

I have covered the categories of quality, quantity, relation, and time next I will say a few brief words on Possession and even though I covered the other categories in my book I shall bypass them in silence and discuss the mystical instate.

Possession is an important category for when we are possessed by the Orishas it is the highest blessing that can befall a man. Because of this wonderful category we can commune with Olodumare and Shango and the other Orishas and partake of things divine.


But this category is sometimes used by the few to take advantage of the many so one must be careful.

I am not making the alarming claim that those possessed by this category are malcontents, but because of possession there judgement is clouded and they can hardly distinguished the good from the bad.

I included this category because of the Orishas.

Also, I put storms, earthquakes, and tornadoes and other natural disasters under this category.

Place, passion, posture, and action I shall leave for those who purchase my work to enjoy. I shall conlude with the most important category the instate.

THE MYSTICAL INSTATE

Instate is that category wherein exists the mystical power our ancestors wielded. Thus any logical analysis into the Philosophy of Olodumare and Shango must be based on logical deductions of the principles involved.

The human mind is the infinite State Olodumare this is our ontology, and as is obvious it can no longer be denied. Thus since the finite State is the infinite State whereas the finite is illusory and the infinite is real this mystical power must emanate from the infinite State and consequently is real!

John Mbiti has sketched and outline of this mystical power. It is working on fire, spitting on snakes, heapinp curses,lycanthropy, changing animate to inanimate, Astonishing theives, etc. The traditional African Medicine man, the Orishas or philosopher wield this mystical power and it is wielded; moreover, by those wise in the ways of Olodumare. This mystical power is a category of the human mind.

This mystical power is not stored in the memory. This I know to be utterly impossible. Why? Because memory is something finite and the instate could have no relation to it. This mystical power is stored in that category called instate. That is why I have rearranged Aristotle's categories and ejected substance and replace it with Olodumare and the mystical instate!

That's where exist the mystical power our ancestors wielded!

I have been asked why I take Johnny seriously... well I don't. But his posts give me an opportunity to say something factual about Ifa. You see I cannot offer an opinion without being asked so johnny's posts satisfies the asking and allows me to post something about the way of life.

Again, I must make clear to all that I am not an expert in the Ifa Yoruba relgion I know of the relgion from books and other things, but I am an expert in black philosophy which is what my post explicitly states is in my book. Hence The Philosophy of Olodumare and Shango!
