Alumnus of the Year was Joseph L. White (psychologist), who gave a brilliant and VERY inspirational speech.

For those who aren't 'hip' to Joseph L. White, he revolutionized the way people of color are perceived and understood in psychology. . .

A teacher, writer and consultant who graduated from SF State in 1954 and received his master's degree in 1958 (also from SF State).

The man did amazing work throughout his lifetime and the crowd LOVED him.

He's the older gentleman in the large sunglasses.
