These are among my favorite pictures. I took them during lunch. Some of from Millennium Park, you can get some good lines there, and it happened on a day that the clouds gave the pictures some drama (okay, I don't know no other way to describe it). The others are from just walking the day after halloween.

Downtown Chicago almost looks like downtown Los Angeles, except, downtown Chicago has more buildings and they're a LOT closer together.

Question: What is that 'pole like' design in pics 2 & 3? Is that a piece of artwork or part of the building's design?

All of your pics are good, but my personal favs are 1, 3, 4, 5, and 8.
Of those 5 my all time favorite is pic 3. . .

And yep, the drama of the clouds adds to the pic. It's almost surreal.

The bars are part of the band shell in Millenium Park, it is a very unique and dynamic structure and it does make for some purty pitchers. I think I have a few better pictures of it, but they are archived, so I have to look for them. It is a very good place to take picutures of the city
