Homeschool. Women go through all kinds of motions and commotions to appear sexy and sensual to their mate or mating potential. Whilst I do appreciate the things that they be going through to excite a 99, I have to say, I don't think they really get it. At least not the way a 99 will really want it.
Now be honest, what is more of a turn on to you. Your desired fresh out of the tub in fuzzy slippers and her housecoat (bath robe) or that same woman hours later in Victoria's Secret lingerie? Yes, I know, you gonna love her either way, but if you had to choose, lingerie or houserobe? Is she more attractive you when she gets dressed for work (fully) or when she comes home and takes her shoes off at the door? To me, when a woman is comfortable she is more sexy than when she is gussied up. Or maybe she is more attractive when you love her than when you lust for her (okay, that is crazy talk). Is the best sex, the first time or the fifth time? Knocking jockeys off the lawn for over 50 years |

A woman is most attractive to me when she is comfortable, relaxed, and happy. However, she can be all these things while she's gussied up. Her mood is what matters most.
Definitely the fifth time. It takes time to learn a new body. The only time the first time is the best time... is when it's the only time. Ubuntu - I am what I am, because of who we all are. Hold up...
something just doesn't sound right if Wiz's Houserobe Theory of Romantic Interaction is correct, and houserobes/comfy attire is sexy what accounts for the Victoria's Secret, LaPerla and Walmart sexy stuff MEN keep buying for their women? if we could get the same reaction in a T-shirt, drawz and flipflops that we get in black lace or red satin... why we keep getting these "very special" but slightly uncomfortable gifts on valentines and other special occasions... huh? Because women like lingerie and it ups the odds for a sexual encounter, without being fattening. Showing off lingerie gets a woman closer to naked than buying 'nothing' will.

I could not agree more. I buy lingerie probably twice a year, on Valentine Day and our anniversary .... because my wife likes it. If it where my preference as to what is sexy, I love it when she wears one of my shirts (and very little else) around the house. She thinks they are comfy, I think she looks hot. And it does not even matter which shirt it is, button down, polo, t shirt or a sweat shirtsith the sleeves rolled up, it is indeed all good. But you can't give her your old jersey for Valentines day, that's for sure.
Ahh, t'was a dream to see her standing on her tip-toes, reaching into the cabinet over the kitchen sink for the popcorn bowl. The hem of her shirt, which was my shirt, teasing the tops of her thighs. She called my name compelling me to wrap my arms around her and lift her to the cabinet; her softness sliding down me, wrapped in thin cotton. Knocking jockeys off the lawn for over 50 years |

Rowe, that was really unqualified and horribly unnecessary bullshit What the fuck makes you think this is about a woman lowering her fucking standards? How did you pull that burr out of your ass? This thread was a paean to the kind of beauty that men (some) will find in a woman when she is not expectant of that. Now you bring in some bullshit about 'standards'. This is not about 'standards', well at least it wasn't. It was about adoration. I know you hate that a man would adore a woman so much that she would be so beautiful to him when she did not appear that way to herself. What the hell is wrong in your life that you would come like that? You really need to change that prism, because that BULLSHIT is blinding you. I got it, you don't like me. So fucking what? I used to like you (not that kind of like so don't go getting your panties wet). I used to think you were an intelligent woman, but it turns out you are petty. And any respect for any intelligence I imagined you had, is no longer there. I know my niggerish opinion don't mean shit to you, so this should slide of your back with a quickness, but you suck and not in a good way. Knocking jockeys off the lawn for over 50 years |

I was responding to Brother Viking's compliment of women, regardless of what we're wearing. I thought his comment showed a genuine appreciation and adoration for women.
Personally, I don't think people in our society get gussied up enough, but that's just my opinion. That's all I'll say about it, because it wasn't my intention to participate at length in this thread. |

Not to pick on you Rowe, but seriously, where did that come from? I don't see how it relates to the thread? Who was doing this or asking for it to be done? This statement seems out of place on such a sweet thread... I realize you already stated you didn't plan on participating in this thread at length... I'm just curious... That's a fair question, and I'll try to keep my response brief, because we are in The Den. Keep in my mind that I've been a member of this forum for a very long time, and before joining this forum, I was a member of several other discussion forums years prior. And so, I've seen a countless number of similar threads in the past in which men have expressed a preference for casually-dressed women. And this might not apply to Brother Wiz, but what I'm finding is that instead of striving to aspire to the level of sophistication that is required of successful Black women with demanding careers, some Black men, coming from different backgrounds and having different lifestyles, try to reduce these women by criticizing them for dressing up and meeting what they consider "White people's standards". In my opinion, rather than discouraging Black women from dressing well, we need to be ENCOURAGING sisters and brothers to dress for success. I'm from the school of thought that teaches people to dress for where they want to go in life, not where they've been. And so, my personal philosophy is to always dress for success. But anyway, I know, now, that Wiz's main intention for starting this thread was not to criticize women for dressing up, but to mainly talk, among men, about what attracts him to women. So I'll be exiting the discussion. I hope I answered your question, but I want to keep my comments as brief as possible.

Rowe, is such a conformist to the white standard, you know the one that puts her in judgement and condescension of all not white, she may as well have been chisled from alabaster. We have to talk be dress like white people, or we lack sophistication. We got to learn like white people, or we lack education. We have to despise he poor, uneducated, unsophisticated black people, like white people do, or we have failed our integration. I guess one day when we Enron some people, or better yet Bhopal or Chernobyl folk, maybe if we could goosestep our way to justice or peace, maybe then Rowe will find favor in us and be proud of us as a people. Maybe then.

See Oshun, this is what I'm talking about. I knew this (see above) was the psychology behind this thread.

See, I'm a keep it real. I like to see my woman in some tattered rags and a ripped up, dirty tablecloth. When you start lettin' 'em wear real clothes, they get too high-saditty and think they better than you. Especially them ones that got jobs.
So Rowe, pick you up at 8:00? ____________________________________________________ |

I know this area is for the gents but I thought this was an interesting topic. This explains why there are times when I get out of the tub and go for the lingerie drawer in my closet and my man stops me. Great topic!

Ok, wait a minute. I don't know HOW you got all of that just from my telling people that I like to get gussied up. I haven't read a response as ignorant and racist as this one is long time. Obviously you have a very limited perception of what Black people are capable of doing, and it's really sad.

I dunno Rowe... The choice was between "lingerie or houserobe". It wasn't even a discussion about what one wears in public or the workplace... So I think this 'psychology' you speak of might be a semi-provoked self fulfilling prophesy of sorts... Not defending Wiz's post though... Egungun, Egungun ni t'aiye ati jo!
