Just a few thoughts...
Firefly is beginning to look good to me. I wonder if I could date a white girl. Why not? It seems to work for disgruntled sistas. These broads kill me. Maybe Wesley Snipes is right. I don't know shit about Black women - Christian, Muslim, Jew, Pan African, African centered, or otherwise. Why do brothers move the way they do... using their POWER to influence sistas away from someone who IS good for them? I am trying to understand. My chest is hurting. Peace Black Child's Pledge I pledge allegiance to my Black People. I pledge to develop my mind and body to the greatest extent possible. I will learn all that I can in order to give my best to my People in their struggle for liberation. I will keep myself physically fit, building a strong body free from drugs and other substances which weaken me and make me less capable of protecting myself, my family and my Black brothers and sisters. I will unselfishly share my knowledge and understanding with them in order to bring about change more quickly. I will discipline myself to direct my energies thoughtfully and constructively rather than wasting them in idle hatred. I will train myself never to hurt or allow others to harm my Black brothers and sisters for I recognize that we need every Black Man, Woman, and Child to be physically, mentally and psychologically strong. These principles I pledge to practice daily and to teach them to others in order to unite my People. The Black Panther, October 26, 1968 by Shirley Williams |

I should have stayed in the ISSUES and POLITICS section of this board.

You know bro ... you're alright ...
A little honest confusion never hurt anybody. But something I've noticed happening to me lately: I don't notice white women anymore. I no longer find them attractive. I've had my problems with sistas ... but the white women are losing their appeal ... What can you do? |

seeing as my name has been called... I don't want to be loved or hated because I'm white or Australian or whatever other quirk.
So unless you find my strange sense of humour, taste in music, shy personality [ PS ...and no correspondence will be entered into. PS2 ...unless you are blind, there are plenty of black women with honour - as evidenced on this board. '...all of us who care about the truth must assist you in finding the resources to tell it.' I can't speak for BLACK WOMEN in general, but I can speak for THIS BLACK WOMAN...and it seems to me you need a hug. {{{{{{VeryTightSisterHug}}}}}}}}}}} Please keep in mind that, despite the stereotypes & beliefs to the contrary, us black women are NOT ALL THE SAME OR ALIKE. I think it's unfair to blame black women in general. . .for the conduct of a few or more than a few. Either way. . . . . .We [black women] are as different & unique 'individually' as BLACK MEN ARE. Personally, I believe a person attracts the same kind of energy they may unknowingly put out there. If the sista/s you're referring to doesn't recognize your own very unique greatness, later for her/them and keep moving forward -- hold on to the good thoughts, focus on the positive, go do something that makes you happy & brings you joy. Try to maintain a positive vibe. Just a thought. |

Shango: My luv (using this loosely), let me give you a massage.... Rubbing your temples, your muscles in your neck, between your shoulder blades......... while I talk to you for a minute. Please don't abandon the sistas. If you happen to meet a nice white woman and she appeals to you (for the reasons firefly mentioned), then by all means, go for it. Love is color blind. But don't pick her because you are sick of the crap that an isolated group of sistas chose to throw your way. HONOR is not stitched into any particular color of fabric. There are just as many screwed up or dishonorable white, asian.... women as there are in the sistahood. Think about this. Are you confining your dating experience to one area of the country............? There are sistas everywhere.... Ended the massage with a chest rub.... |

You are a beautiful man Khari...... A woman would be a fool to not see this in you.... even those that may not be available to respond to what they see are probably still able to recognize a great catch in their midst ..... You should have no trouble finding the right woman for you.... You deserve happiness and fulfillment.... I know it will come to you.... You are handsome, intelligent, witty and strong.... You have what many women are looking for..... I do not doubt that you will have to look far.... or frequent.. you are a gem.... a prize in the eyes of many Black Women.... never doubt that... Slow your roll... I just used your name in place of "white girl." I'd rather spend a quiet evening with Ricardomath than kick it with you. Black Child's Pledge I pledge allegiance to my Black People.
