A few weeks ago I was invited to a "white party" that was being thrown for a local fashion designer. So I located what I (affectionately) call the local "pimp store" ... I.e., a store, often located in a mall, with a large black male clientele ... where you can get a purple, yellow ... or even (in my case) a white suit ... and accessories ...
A 3 piece suit (all white) with white shoes and hat with band to match .... yes ... I did ... I'm partial to such outfits ... collarless jackets ... etc. How many of you fellas are "pimp store" regulars or have an unusual suit(s) - one that only a black man can get away with wearing?

Not a regular but I do own a couple of suits that fit the bill...actually half are from shopping overseas..but they'll do.
 I have the obligatory white suit, deep blue, midnight black (to me its just a damn black suit for heavens sake...  ) and *can't believe I'm admitting to this* a deep red suit, with matching shirt, vest, tie and they even *shudder* threw in a matching fedora for free. I may get a few accesories or hats now and then but as far as suits that are "unique"....no way. Even overseas, I kept my selections to basic colors and patterns as with the "unique" suits you can only wear them sparingly.
