That topic is so ignorant of the past. I bet those folks don't even know (or care) that 95% of the African slaves brought to the Western Hemisphere went to the Caribbean and Latin America.

what part is "ignorant of the past"? When we speak we are afraid our words will not be heard or welcomed. But when we are silent, we are still afraid. So it is better to speak Audre Lord |

And this topic needed to be posted because!?!?
First of all, this topic has been covered. Secondly, every non-black race of human being on the planet is racist about their daughters getting with a black man. It's nothing new. Again, what's the point of posting this topic? Fearmongering? Promoting/maintaining division? You just excited that you finally stumbled over the article and think you're saving the curious brothers that haven't quenched their JayLo jones from the disappoinment of being rejected by hispanic parents? Boring. I'd rather be hated for what I am than loved for what I'm not. - Chuck D. |

Who the fock are you supposed to be?
Your approval isn't required for a member to post a topic of their own choosing. It's been covered before, and so what? There's no rule that says it can't be covered again. If you don't like it, don't read it. |

Somebody hear something?
Anyways, as I was saying, this topic is garbage. Keep it moving. I'd rather be hated for what I am than loved for what I'm not. - Chuck D. |

@Romulus Burnett. . .
You are so full of shyt, it ain't even funny. You ain't 'ignoring' a damn thing, and you know it. Cause if you were. . . You'd IGNORE threads you consider 'boring,' instead of pointing your damn finger and talking out of your pie hole. Here's a suggestion for you, azzwipe, if you can come up with a better topic of discussion, then DO IT! meanwhile, shut the fock up (& stop complaining about what others 'post' or don't post). |

Obviously, what I mentioned on my previous post, what the topic starter didn't mention on that site. "There are two things that are infinite, human stupidity and the universe...and I'm not too sure about the universe." --Albert Einstein |

I'm going to say something that will ruffle the feathers of some: If these brothers I see out here who chase after white and hispanic women would put as much effort and care into marrying, building, and raising children with black women as they do with other women, half the problems that afflict black people would be rectified.
================ A race of people is like an individual man: until it uses it's own talent, takes pride in it's own history, expresses it's own culture, affirms it's own selfhood, it can never fulfill itself. El Hajj Malik Shabazz aka Malcolm X |

This is the bullshit I was waiting for someone to be narrow-minded enough to post, which was what kalikwa was looking for all along. And that biased statement is exactly what would bring any other ultrafeminist females up in here to stand on their soapbox all about. If a male AA.org member dropped some bullshit link in the sista's spot about black women being rejected by some non-black ethnic group the female AA.org members would either collectively ignore the thread or chastize the person that started the thread topic. Both black men and women are dating and marrying outside of their race. Both black men and women need to learn how to get the fuck along instead of continuing to fight this stalemate afro-gender war/ blaming contest that isn't helping anyone no matter what the reason or excuse is for perpetuating such foolishness and no matter how good or bad the intention, which brings me back to my original statement. This topic has already been discussed up and down, left and right. You aren't going to stop black men and women from pursuing love and romance outside of their racial lines, whether for legitimate or superficial reasons, nor are you going to make any black men and women feel somehow embarrassed or obligated to stay behind racial lines, so Shut the fuck up already and keep it moving. And on that note let's all pause for a moment of silence as kalikwa continues to express her abysmal, unfathomable, profoundly displaced anger and resentment derived from her untimely divorce that has rendered her bitter, jaded, and hollow.
