You know,
I love seeing Black Couples....I live in a state where there is an overwhelming amount of Black Men with White Women or Latina Women or Asian Women and that has been odd for me to see given that I didn't even see this that much in Minneapolis!!! But when I came across some Black Couples here, I was so proud to see them! I am always proud to see Black Couples anywhere because there is nothing like the unity between Black Men and Black Women. It really shoves the mess right back in the faces of the people who claim that WE can't do anything together. Many people haven't UnderStood why I prefer to deal exclusively with Black Men....and I always tell them that "there is nothing like your own!" I would seriously feel like I am missing out if I were to date anything other than a Black Man. I actually had a dream about that once and the feeling of "traitor" FOR ME, was overwhelming. I can't speak to what others want to do because each person has their own road to walk....but for me, it is a given that I prefer to date and eventually marry, a Black Man.
