Would you call the cops? Press for assault charges?

What have you done in that type of situation?

Is this question being asked to men?

It's never happened to me ... but I doubt if I'd call the cops if it did...

Yeah. Like those soap opera slaps.

Woman: *cry* "How dare you, Connor! *thap* *bawl*

Man: *head twists to the side and then recomposes* "Christiane. . ." *blabs on as if nothing happened*

Cut!

Wondering how many men in real life press charges. . .

Unless the woman is combat trained, she's not going to get the jump on me that way. And even then... it's very iffy.

But, if it did happen... I'd only press charges if she actually hurt me.

Be serious please...you are not going to murder anyone...and I gaurantee if a man hits you may attempt to fight back, but the chances of you winning are slim to none...you would probably take your ase whippin' and call the police.

Me myself, I would let her know she messed up and if she did it again, I would treat her like a man.

Unless it was one helluva big mosquito on my face, she may (worst of the worst case scenario) have her picture on a milk carton.

Black Child's Pledge

I pledge allegiance to my Black People. I pledge to develop my mind and body to the greatest extent possible. I will learn all that I can in order to give my best to my People in their struggle for liberation. I will keep myself physically fit, building a strong body free from drugs and other substances which weaken me and make me less capable of protecting myself, my family and my Black brothers and sisters. I will unselfishly share my knowledge and understanding with them in order to bring about change more quickly. I will discipline myself to direct my energies thoughtfully and constructively rather than wasting them in idle hatred. I will train myself never to hurt or allow others to harm my Black brothers and sisters for I recognize that we need every Black Man, Woman, and Child to be physically, mentally and psychologically strong. These principles I pledge to practice daily and to teach them to others in order to unite my People.

------------------------

I was slapped once in my life [in high school] by my policital science teacher. The man slapped me with such force I literally saw stars and/or flashing lights. smh

I was about 98 pounds in those days, so when he hit me, I fell to the ground. . .barely able to stand up.

Anyway, I went home and told my brothers.

No cops necessary.
