Use only unadulterated sea salt with its naturally occurring 83 micro-minerals intact. The Federal Drug Administration say 18 minerals are required. GOD says that 83 are required.

Table salt and salt bought at the health food store has had all of the life sustaining minerals that were originally present extracted. What happened to the minerals? Those valuable minerals were extracted and sold for use in the chemical industry. For instance, the salt industry removes the magnesium prior to selling it for consumption because the magnesium is used in making explosives. Bottom Line? The selling of minerals to chemical plants is more profitable to the salt industry than the sale of the salt minerals to you.

These salts are refined to 99% sodium chloride, no other minerals. They contain substances that make them free flowing (anticaking agents) such as sodium silicoaluminate or magnesium carbonate and iodine added as was previously mandated by the federal goverment. This latter practice has been discontinued because there was a lack of synergy with the other 82 minerals causing all types of health problems.

Table salt is now a 99% concentration of sodium chloride (eletrolytes) which upsets the balance between the other needed electrolytes and missing minerals in the body, causing abnormal cell functioning throughout the body.

Now salt is dangerous deemed life threatening. but all living creatures must have salt to survive. Indeed table salt is dangerous and fatal and every one in ear shot of this post should have it remove from their table and cupboard.

If you need some type of seasoning, try Mrs. Dash or the Goya seasoning as a substitute for table salt, if you can't get sea salt.

Mrs. Dash isn't half bad, it actually is a pretty tasty substitute.

Thank you for sharing my Brother. And I concur if sea salt is not available. But we cannot use or make excuses not to do what we have to do. The purpose of the sea salt is to introduce the body to the necessary 83 minerals that most bodies has never experienced. Indeed, There are 92 elements found in nature, and an additional 22 theoretical and/or observed elements. In addition, there are hundreds of isotopes of the elements, any one of which may play an as yet undiscovered role in human health. "You can trace every sickness, every disease and every ailment to a mineral deficiency." - Dr. Linus Pauling --two time nobel prize winner.

Oh yeah! Here is a link to purchase your sea salt

Another alternative is eating clay as our forefathers ate to get their minerals, of which I will be doing an article on. Don't go nowhere.

Actually, youre wrong. I happened to surf buy and see this thread and had to comments. Did you know that arsenic and radon are also naturally occuring?!?!?!?!? But they are bad for you, so not all things natural are good for you. Go drink some sea water and see for yourself. Another thing, The magnesium harvested from the oceans (main, but not the only source) does not ALL go to explosives. Metal fabrication, vitamins, medicines (like epsom salt or milk of magnesia), Gringard reagents that aide in organic synthesis, and many other things. Do a little more reseach before you make paranoid, conspiracy theory style assumptions. And you also get those 93 elements our body needs by living healthy. Eat a banana, theres the potassium, eat table salt because of the iodine. (those jerks actually put iodine in the salt to keep us from having thyroid problems, even though they could also use the iodine to make explosives too....those jerks right?).

I was introduced to sea salt about a year ago and that's all I ever use.
And while we are on the subject of salt, I would caution everyone to stay away from processed foods. They are LOADED with sodium. If you can eat fresh food in its natural state, please do it! Processed foods and prepackaged meals are very convenient and popular but they will kill you!

Arsenic is best known as a deadly poison. Recently, it was (sic) discovered that it can help save the lives of cancer patients, according to a study. In 1996, Chinese researchers reported that low doses of a compound of the poison - arsenic trioxide - could aid the recovery of patients with acute promyelocytic leukaemia (APL)

In 1998 it was reported that therapeutic amounts of arsenic was found to induce remission in patients who had relapsed with a severe form of leukaemia, according to research published in the New England Journal of Medicine.

The US Environmental Protection Agency has an ongoing research program to look into arsenic in the environment and to establish what constitutes a safe level.

Radon – A search of biopositive radon use, particularly for the treatment of painful degenerative joint and spine diseases, reveals over a century of large-scale use and scientific studies on the subject since the discovery of radon. Most of those studies and experiences originated in Western Europe, in particular Germany and Austria, but also in the former Soviet Union and other countries such as Japan.

Interestingly in western modern medicine there is relatively little information on it where such therapies (radon) competes with "traditional medicine" such as the use of drugs such as non-steroid anti-rheumatism.

Iodine In the early part of the 20th century, goiter was prevalent in certain parts of the U.S. A minute amount of sodium iodide was mixed with table salt, to help reduce the chance of iodine deficiency in humans, which commonly leads to thyroid gland problems, specifically endemic goiter. Iodine naturally occurs in the environment chiefly as dissolved iodide in seawater, although it is also found in some minerals and soils. Kelp and certain other plants have some ability to concentrate iodine, which helps introduce the element into the food chain as well as keeping its cost down.

Today it is not required by the FDA to be added to salt where there are a few well-reasoned negative studies on it's individualized usage.

The point is all minerals should be used in concert or together in micro or macro amounts to stabilize or balance each other, including radon and arsenic as mother nature intended.

I hope you find this responsive to your inquiry and I believe you should re-read the article on the dangers of table salt with an open mind which covers concerns you raise here.
