THe Black Expo is in Detroit,

Michigan. Wow! THat's close.

They are offering services and opportunities.

It pretty much sounds very exciting.



Thousands are expected to converge

at the Cobo Center on Friday to

mix with exhibitors, hear business

presentations, buy merchandise, and

network at the 2008 International

Detroit Black Expo!


The free expo, which attracted

76,000 people. It is expected to get

100,000 people this weekend.


The opportunities available

are for networking, entrepreneurial

education and patronize Black owned

businesses.

The Detroit area has

19,500 Black owned businesses

and 700 of them and others around

Africa will have exhibits at the

expo.


Harris said this year's goal is

to help change the mindset of Detroit's

Black entrepreneurs. They have to

go beyond the area and outside

the auto related businesses.


THe expo will host hundreds of
workshops that will cover topics

of how to build and expand a business,

economic empowerment, time management,

tax management, and applying for grants.
