If you wanna play my MP3 player is better than your MP3 player. Why don't we take it to THE NEXT LEVEL? So what podcasts shall we listen to on the MP3 players? It's not the medium, it's THE MESSAGE. http://sic.conversationsnetwork.org/ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wdiLbw4JC94 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v0YylKekLKc um |

Go DJ! I've got SO many favorite interviews. I'm actually reading a book by a favorite guest: James (The Amazing) Randi's "Flim-Flam." *********************************** "It is certain, in any case, that ignorance, allied with power, is the most ferocious enemy justice can have." -- James Baldwin |

It didn't surprise me that Bill Gates would think something like that but tht he would say it. I can't see how it would do his PR any good, but when you've got $40 Billion who gives a sh!t! um |

MBM...
here's a widescreen mp3 player that may work for your photos *shrug* look at the screen on this one It doesn't seem to have the FM radio thingy going on. I might go with S. StCloud's suggestion of the Cowon D2...but this 4.3 inch screen is tempting When we speak we are afraid our words will not be heard or welcomed. But when we are silent, we are still afraid. So it is better to speak Audre Lord |

I have a iPhone, even as a mac user, I resisted getting an iPod because of the lack of FM (or the add-on for $39) I have long used iTunes for music and movies, but it turns out most of the stuff I would listen to comes in podcasts anyway, so I am not missing anything.
I would still recommend an iPod over other players, only because of iTunes. It is the simplest way to manage your music. And with the new Touch, you can manage photos, movies and music with ease. The interface is superior. To rib the discs you already own, you just pop them in, it asks if you want to import them, and then it is over with. And they never show up as 'files', they are not .mp3 or .aac or .wmv, they are song titles and names. creating playlists is simple and easy. It does a lot of other nice and easy things as well. Even if you never buy a song from iTunes, if you open an account there, it will download your album art, so that it will show on your player. And if you do buy from them, they have damned near everthing. Books, tv shows, podcasts and some movies. The most wonderful thing about iPod is iTunes.
