As I majored in Science and was born and raised in the Black Church, I broadened my learning capacity through reading, researching and I visisting Muslim bookstores and forums. I soon began to apply both my love of science and history to the history recorded in the Bible and have learned alot with regards to the Calendar and how to measure time. I am able to better understand the history of Egypt and the story of the Hebrew experiences when I placed it on a timeline. Following is one way to see time as measured on a Calendar.

SCIENTIFIC CALENDAR [13 Months]
1st Month - March 14---- [var. Nisan, Ethanim]--Spring Equinox—21st-23rd
2nd Month - April 14---- [Bul; Jap-ril---Jupiter’s Appearance]
3rd Month - May 14----- [Mag]
4th Month - June 14----- [Juno; Gun---the name of the wife of JapHeth]
5th Month - July 14----- [Yuletide-Sothis; South Star; Dog Star Appearance]
6th Month -August 14—[Octavian-8th Month-Romans]
7th Month –September 14 – Sept/Seven [var. Abib; Tishri]-Fall Equinox
8th Month – October 14 – Oct /Eight [var. Zif; Ziph, Zeph, Zaph…Mercury]
9th Month – November 14 – Nova or New Year [New Year for Assyria/Nineveh…]
10th Mnth – December 14 – Deca/Ten
11th Mnth – January 14 – An or Janus; Chanoch, Son of Cain- [var. Chisleu/Kislev]
12th Mnth –February 14- End of Year Festivals
13th Mnth –February (2nd) – [Veadar or 2nd Adar]-----Lunar-Leap Month

*The 14th Day, is based on the moon cycle and after the earth was tilted and slowed down from a 360-rotation to a 365.6-rotation cycle around the sun. The 14th Day, therefore, is 'the first day of the month' and ancient priest and scientist used a lunar Calendar in conjunction with a solar Calendar in order to align time. What do you think about this?

I guess my initial thought is a question, along the lines of why this is significant. Calendars are conventions people use for various reasons (social, cultural, historical, etc). My choice of calender is basically for convenience, as I see it. If I am interacting with someone else about something regarding a date, it is critical that we share a convention or that my convention is translatable to theirs.
