I just caught this old video on Vh1 Soul. It's Cool C's Glamorous Life. I'm sure the young lady who plays his love interest is Jill Scott. She's got Jill's smile and button nose.

Searching around on the net some commentors don't think it's her. But some have commented that Cool C* and Jill are both from Philly. That just about clinches it for me. Smile

Any thoughts?

Cool C* received the death penalty for killing a cop (allegedly) during a botched bank robbery. According to this link he was scheduled to die by lethal injection on March 9, 2006. I don't know if it actually happened though.

It definitely looks like her in the face, but she doesn't have Jill's breasts. Even if Jill was smaller when she was younger, her boobs are enormous...and that feature doesn't fluctuate that severely with weight gain/loss that I know of. They shouldn't have been that small...ever.... well since puberty anyhow. I could be wrong though...

I did a search and it seems as though the consensus is that it is Jill...

I saw Jill before her 1st album came out and she was not quite as "maidenform ready" as she is now...

The video was shot about 18 yrs ago... Who knows what could have happened in that time span...

Peace,

AudioGuy

Jill's gonna be doing a free concert as part of the MLK, Jr. Concert Series in Brooklyn, NY on Aug. 11th. (Erykah Badu will perform a week earlier on Aug.4.)
