I was surprised to see LA get handled so easily. Congrats Boston... ------------------------------ R.I.F. (Reading IS Fundamental)... "There are five dangerous faults which may affect a general: (1) Recklessness, which leads to destruction; (2) cowardice, which leads to capture; (3) a hasty temper, which can be provoked by insults; (4) a delicacy of honor which is sensitive to shame; (5) over-solicitude for his men, which exposes him to worry and trouble." -Sun Tzu |

Congrats to the Boston Celtics & The Big 3! They handeled their business with defense, the key to winning in any sport.
The Lakers did not lose this series, they were outmatched and outplayed. Doc Rivers outcoached Phil Jackson. As for Kobe, just another baller with ability but lacks the intangibles; another all pro baller to accompany him and Kobe's void of leadership skills necessary to lead to a championship. The NBA badly wants another Jordan. Forcing the "Jordan" factor upon certain players year after year (Kobe, Lebron, Grant Hill, Vince Carter) does not work. The NBA's most recent victim of the Jordan factor? Kobe Bryant. The NBA wants you to believe that Kobe & LeBron are leaders but anyone can see that they're not. When the Lakers got in trouble, he's got lost & was confused and Phil just stopped coaching. The triangle offense? Phil should realize that other teams have already figured it out! Kobe can't motivate and he doesn't know how to get his players involved. When he had Shaq and all those other veterns during their Laker championship runs, he should have listened and learned but he didn't. He wanted individual stardom and a team to call his own. He got it but now as a leader, his deficiencies are showing. The Lakers need another coach to revitalize this team and properly teach Kobe (now that he will listen) how to be a leader and a true team player. Kobe's leadership looks forced and Phil Jackson just rests on his laurels now. He stopped coaching basketball 2 years ago. I think this was Kobe's last NBA finals appearance. LeBron James & Kobe Bryant: NBA & Nike sponsored manufactured superstars who don't have the leadership skills to make teams better. They can sell sneakers and dunk a basketball but the NBA needs to consider that true basketball skills and professionalism that was displayed by the Celtics throughout this championship series. No egos, no whining, no bitchin' no flash, no bang, just excellence in execution, professional teamwork and leadership. With the exception of Kevin Garnett & Moses Malone, maybe a 4 year college education does make a difference in basketball maturity? The Celtics developed a blueprint last night along with the San Antonio Spurs and the Detroit Pistons. Combine all pro true professional players to win, not the individual superstar. Hopefully Tracy McGrady, LeBron James, Dirk Notwiski and Dwight Howard were watching last night and took notes. Way to go Celtics.

I watched some of the parade and all I can say is, "someone tell Davis to put on a bra or a shirt!"
