What next? Time Warner buying AOL? Wait a minute, that already happened!!!

Can a Microsoft/Dell be far behind?

I wonder when we"ll just have one big corporation?

Oh yeah, we're protected by anti-trust laws, right?

It's a sweet buy for Nike. They get great brands from the deal (Converse, Chuck Taylor, All-Star, Jack Purcell, etc.), pay only $305 million (What did they pay for LeBron James? brosmile ), and now have some new brands/product with which to take care of the lower end retail trade. They also get some brands that they can leverage into lifestyle/casusal apparel as well.

No anti-trust issues here though. Converse only did $205 million last year!
