Grow up. One day. Please. Every male response doesn't emanate from some antediluvian, misogynistic, patriarchal hell. |

what specifically is the "poor behavior" you are trying to fabricate? And by all means, let's ignore your own condescending remarks and focus only on NS's banter.
taking a cue from MBM's repetoire I'll be waiting for you to post it. Post examples of the poor behavior right here > < When we speak we are afraid our words will not be heard or welcomed. But when we are silent, we are still afraid. So it is better to speak Audre Lord |

No not every male response... just yours and many of the men on this board... there are plenty men in my real life that know how to answer a question without flipping out... umm... first have standards for maturity different than a two year old before you go about telling someone to grow up.... then begin with evaluating your own behavior... good day Michael.... Why chop her up when your actual beef is with me? When we speak we are afraid our words will not be heard or welcomed. But when we are silent, we are still afraid. So it is better to speak Audre Lord |

Ignore that sista Khalliqa, he is lashing out at you because his feelings are hurt.

First, I don't have a "beef" with you. I have respect for you. We just see some things from different perspectives. To be clear, though, my comments to her were as a result of my interaction with her. They had nothing to do with you. |

MBM: I feel that your responses were just as much condescension and poor behavior as you feel mine may have been, but still, I have respect for you. This sistas and hillary topic is not worth slashing and burning valuable relationships...

I hear you and I know that I wrote things that offended you - to which I sincerely apologize - but I never suggested you were somehow prejudiced against other folks because of class bias. I never called you sexist for your views, and I didn't look up your IP address and list your name and address in some attempt to "call you out". More than anything I think we just misunderstood each other, but I'm glad - I hope - that we can chill about this. |

I hear you and I know that I wrote things that offended you - to which I sincerely apologize me too but I never suggested you were somehow prejudiced against other folks because of class bias ok, but that whole "peep don't luv obama because he don't hoop n holla" struck me that way. I could be wrong...*shrug* I never called you sexist for your views I don't support hillary and initially had issues with the way the other thread was written and the tone it seemed to take toward sistas in general... I didn't look up your IP address and list your name and address in some attempt to "call you out". Huh? I did not look up your IP address and I don't know your home address. Whatchu talkin bout Willis? I just happened to see a webpage with your middle name as I was doing a search for AA.org on AOL, which doesn't automatically route to this site in a keyword search. More than anything I think we just misunderstood each other, but I'm glad - I hope - that we can chill about this. I don't think we misunderstood each other at all, but at the end of the day, i'm glad we both know that Hillary ain't about jack, and our unity and common love for blackness is more important than that.

Just finished listening...
This was a good show! While I agree more with MBM's arguments, I appreciated the candor and clarity of ER's POV. And it was done productively! Kudos to you both! ------------------------------ R.I.F. (Reading IS Fundamental)... "There are five dangerous faults which may affect a general: (1) Recklessness, which leads to destruction; (2) cowardice, which leads to capture; (3) a hasty temper, which can be provoked by insults; (4) a delicacy of honor which is sensitive to shame; (5) over-solicitude for his men, which exposes him to worry and trouble." -Sun Tzu |

Where did you get the 68% figure....??? Anyways, the Clintons have a hold on blacks, so that is probably why black women support Hillary.... She is the most known- for obvious reasons... People will say they support Hillary often times solely because of name recognition.. The myth held by the media that a black candidate will get black support has been broken I suppose.... |

And what are we going to do with Oprah's pick? For now, I will wait and see and continue the crusade I am on, which both Senators Clinton and Obama support! And I'll follow on the radio show as this all plays out! Bill C |
