We're going to have another interesting show tonight. Our guest is an old friend. Following on our business segment last week exploring the outsourcing phenomenon in China, tonight we'll talk to a seasoned executive from the world of finance. Ellerton Castor was a commercial banker with me in the 80's, earned his MBA from Harvard Business School, and has been involved in international finance and now real estate development. He has a fascinating background and is a wonderful guy. You'll enjoy him!

After - as always - Joe and I will dive into 'the issues of the day'.

YOU are invited to join us for all of it! Remember, you can call us at (718)508-9712 to call in to the live show.

The show is really picking up strong momentum. We've had three weeks in a row with new callers; let's make it four!!! tfro

MBM, I don't know what's the show topic for tonight, but it would be great to talk about why there aren't any or very few black-owned, black hair product companies out there. I was listening to this on the Michael Baidsen show 3pm today.

And if the majority of them are Asian-owned, do you think there are any black millionaires and/or billionaires that can buy them out?

In fact, a person made a documentary about it. Please put that in the place where we used to have a You tube screen, if you can. Three excerpts from http://www.blackhairdvd.com.

Aron Ranen's Black Documentary Part One

Aron Ranen's Black Hair Documentary Part Two

Black Hair Documentary Part Three

Will listen to it this weekend... Was able to hear a snippet re: SBA loans and community banks...

My ex was fascinated with banking and finance.... Was courted heavily by Goldman Sachs... (didn't take the job cuz... I didn't want to live in NY sck) Its because of him that I developed an interest in finance and banking... (he gets some credit sck for something sck)

anywhoo.... I'm interested... I conked out last night and missed the show!

early to bed... early to rise....

Big Grin

Salaam......

Peace,

I,too, am interested in Afro-American business and its well-being at this stage in our history. And I will be there often.
