Things are looking up for Joy these days. . .
She is feeling better and regaining much needed energy & strength. It's amazing to me that just over a week ago, she was in the hospital hooked up to all sorts of machinary, and talks of sending her to a hospice was the main topic of discussion. yet, here we are. . . with the results of another MRI looking promising, she is adding 'juicing' to her regiment (along with more radiation & chemo). The 'juicing' is recommended by 3 cancer survivors who chose non-conventional methods of treatment to heal themselves. Heck, I've been trying to get the woman to try juicing certain vegetable combinations for years. And using a blender to mix certain fruit combinations is another great thing to do(health-wise) and very tasty. Sure, all of it leaves a BIG mess but worth the effort (in the long run), imo. Anyway, it's all good. . . music16.gif (6 Kb, 52 downloads) |

So far the tumors haven't shrunk, but neither have they grown. . .
Personally, I don't see this necessarily as bad news, but then, I'm not the one with the medical problem, so, easy to say I guess. The way I see it, things are at a stalemate. Zero points for the cancer (at the moment). . . the home team (Joy) is holding it down. |

Now liver, kidney, spline and only G.d knows 'what else' is involved.
The cancer has waged a vicious return attack. . . Missed our 'Ladies Day' at the Spa. . . Didn't make it to my birthday celebration (a dinner cruise) She wants to visit Greece one more time. . . or at least the planned vacation trip next month. . . 'Time' seems to be flying by quickly. . .too quickly I look in her eyes and I see my good friend, the friend I've known for years My daughter says, "Tell auntie Joy, I hope she feels better." Life is so hard sometimes. . . |
