Interesting. Orange IS actually one of my favourite colours. Hmmm... I thought I was more trusting...and less competitive... (what I choose to 'compete' in is very different to what most other people seem to find important) but the latter part is true.

*Last week I was one of the chaperone's for my daughter's 5th grade class. We went on a field trip to a Science fair.

The students were grouped off into 5 students per parent volunteer. . .

One child in particular was a big time problem. He'd walk off without telling me---NO, let's make that "sneak" off without telling me. In fact, the little boy was missing for about 15-20 minutes, and that's 15-20 minutes way too long. Good thing I work well under pressure.

But mannnnnnnnnnnn, I was soooo pissed. . .it appears he did this "disappearing act" on purpose; laughing while we searched for him. {big sigh}

The boy was a problem from the start, and I made SURE to tell his parents exactly how I felt about his behavior.

A lot of good THAT did. . .

Anyway, yesterday I received thank you notes. . .here's 3 of them.

The quote button is fine to use. It actually makes quoting easier, because you can type your reply directly into that box (right undernethe the quote). The edit button is the one next to it, the one with the little eraser. That's the one you don't want to use (at least, not on accident).

Visitors take a step back in time as they walk through the fully restored apartment that was once home to Berry Gordy, Jr, and stand in the original recording studio “Studio A” where Motown’s greatest hits were recorded.

MUSEUM HIGHLIGHTS

Empire on West Grand Boulevard
This museum exhibit is a telling representation of the growth of Motown from a small startup business begun in 1959 to what became by the mid-70s the largest independent record company in the world. The exhibit includes models of eight houses on West Grand Boulevard acquired by the company to house its growing operations until it moved its offices to a high-rise in downtown Detroit in 1968. The display begins with Gordy’s purchase of “Hisville USA”, a house that served a dual purpose as his company headquarters and home. Visitors see the houses that made up the Motown empire from the front porch of the Hitsville house.
