It was kinda nice and new on the first two albums when Kirk interrupted the choir with his inspirational chatting...but it's old.

Unless Kirk is gonna do a singing or an instrumental solo, he needs to SHUT UP and let the choir sing without interruption.

LOL! 20 "The Lord don't need no remix!" I need to remember that line. That's gold.

Have they completely stopped teaching addition in school? People simply do not know how to make change any more. And please don't try to help them with pennies trying to round your change back to the nearest nickel or dime. They freak out or shut down. I almost had to smack a cashier today.

A family member passed away just over two weeks ago. Body's been in the ground maaayyyybe 9 or 10 days.

So, this morning I get a voicemail from someone who NEEEEVVVVEEEEERRRRR calls me. I call him back, tell him yes I'm at work, what's up.

Him: "Oh no, you're at work? (Where else would I be at 10am on a Wednesday, but I digress.) Oh what I have to say is serious and we'll need time to talk, yada, yada."

D@mn. It's too soon for this nonsense.

I'm sorry to hear about your loss, ATP.

I'm not clear, though, on the connection between your loss and the person calling you. What do you think he's trying to do?

He wants money. He's getting in line for the insurance proceeds.

Got no love for politicians
Or that crazy scene in D.C.
It's just a power mad town
But the time is ripe for changes
There's a growing feeling
That taking a chance on a new kind of vision is due

I used to trust the media
To tell me the truth, tell us the truth
But now I've seen the payoffs
Everywhere I look
Who do you trust when everyone's a crook?

Revolution calling
Revolution calling
Revolution calling you
(There's a) Revolution calling
Revolution calling
Gotta make a change
Gotta push, gotta push it on through

Oh, okay. As my own experience can attest, the death of a family member can bring out the worst in bad people. Mad

Ain't that the truth. In my family, when my postal worker uncle passed, I was certain that family was gonna start taking out family. And the man was one step from broke and had no insurance.

ATP, sorry about your loss.

People who speak jargonese. I.e., people who, routinely and without explanation, use words/phrases/acronyms in every day speech whose meaning they have no reason to expect that people outside their profession/place of work/etc. would know.

Speak English dammit. Even speak Spanish. But please don't speak jargonese.

The ingrained practice of saying, 'try and' rather than 'try to'.

It's small, but it is nagging.

Okay, what's up with "Noone" when people want to say "No one"? I see this on the net all the time.

Automated Bathrooms. Mad

Damn toilet flushes for no reason and I'm still doing my business.

But when you're done doing your business and you stand up it doesn't flush, so you're standing there waving your hand and feet around the sensor to activate the flush.

You want to wash your hands and none of the sensors in any of the sinks work.

Or you wash your hands and when you wave your hand over the sensor for the paper towel dispensor no paper towels come out.

Dammit to hell.

Man, I thought this only happened in the women's restrooms! I see you all have to suffer at the hands of the evil machines, as well!

I had to go through that mess, when I went to the WalMart bathroom yesterday. I had to cup my hands together like the logo from Allstate insurance. You have to cup your hands 8 or 9 times to get enough water to wash really deep dirt on your hands.

Folks who say "they hate hip-hop/rap, but love techno" or vice versa. I mean, damn most electronica or early techno music was either influenced by rap or influenced early rap pioneers...Kraftwerk, Mantronix, Soul Sonic Force, etc.

If they hate one form of said music, but not the other, what do those people do when they hear "Planet Rock" in the club? Somebody has to make a decision.
