Some folks would consider that disrespectful to African America, but some other folks are more interested in whether or not Obama attended the SOBU. Nevermind the fact that he's spent his whole adult life working for the Black community as a civil servant. Nevermind that he's addresed the issues of African America countless times. What's most important is that he didn't show up to "vote present" during another one of Hillary's fake-azz Black community photo-ops. sck

I can't remember the last time there was a thread about this campaign that actually dealt with some issue of substance. The Obama haterism has been going on for weeks... and it's getting lower and dumber.

At the end of the day and all things being equal, if given the choice between throwing my lot in with the white candidate, whose history and interests are opposed to mine, that MIGHT introduce a Black agenda; or the Black whose history and interests are similar to mine, that MIGHT NOT introduce a Black agenda ... well ... that to me is a no-brainer.

I totally disagree with that sentiment. Racism is only an ideology, opression is oppresion Racist oppression is oppression based on a racist ideology but powerless people are free to be racist (or any other type of 'ist) and have no power to oppress them at all.

This is not the appropriate place for you to disagree. I quoted Sister Rowe's statement in this thread because I felt it merited the the acknowledgment. If you want to disagree... then find the original thread she made the statement in and disagree there.

Here is the thread where Sister Rowe made the original statement...

http://africanamerica.org/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/79160213/m/1531090364/p/1

But looking over that thread, I'm reminded that you've already done quite a bit of disagreeing with everything she posted there. Despite the fact that you were perfectly able to throw your continuous objection over seven pages in that thread, you still found it necessary to come over here and chuck your two rusted-azz pennies onto this thread. A thread that was inteneded to be used for the upliftment of members by other members, not trolled by a grown man acting like a petulent child who has to go out of his way to make good-and-damn-sure that his cyber-voice is cyber-heard.

The best thing for you to do is go back and delete the last two posts you made in this thread. When you do that, I will also delete my comments to you.
