It's not about what it will do for me. I don't know what if anything it will. But it would be good for the church.

My family partakes in tithing in various ways...giving to the community and single parent households is a regular activity for myself and my son.

We try to help others with food, utility bills, bus passes to get back and forth to work, clothing and the like.

I agree that it is not about what it does for my family, because I am aware that even with our efforts, the needs are so great. We are always wishing we could do more and try to come up with creative ways to help meet the needs.
